41NBC’s Salvation Army Angel Tree

Brought to you by:

Join 41NBC & the Salvation Army to help make some Holiday Wishes come true. There are so many struggling families in the world, and right here in our community. This time of the year often makes it more difficult than ever. It is time to do our part and help those less fortunate this Holiday season. Join us and help make a few Miracles come true as we partner to help fill the need of families with 41NBC’s Salvation Army Angel Tree. Dates are from Nov 16- Dec 10, 2019

How it works:

◼Parents register their household for Christmas assistance through the Salvation Army.

◼The family is interviewed to verify that the family is truly in need and the Salvation Army obtains the name of each child or senior citizen in the family and a list of desired Christmas gifts.

◼Angel tags are printed for each individual and placed on the Salvation Army Angel Trees at the Shoppes at River Crossing.

◼Sponsors select Angels, purchase gifts (at a suggested cost of less than $50 per gift), and return them to The Shoppes at River Crossing Community Angel Tree.

◼Upon their return, the gifts are taken to a Salvation Army Toy Shop for inventory and sorting by hundreds of Volunteers.

◼On a designated date right before Christmas, families will pick up their donated items at their local Salvation Army Toy Shop.
